Whether people are sober curious, choose to abstain, or like to switch up their beverages, Bero is many people’s favorite non-alcoholic beer. Co-founded by Tom Holland, Bero is the beverage for beer lovers. With the new Double Tasty, the West Coast Style IPA will be the ultimate summer sipper.

From mocktails to non-alcoholic beers and spirits, the bar is well-stocked with beverages that skip the “buzz.” While there are plenty of options, they are not created equal. Avoiding alcohol should not be devoid of flavor.

When Bero launched in October 2024, the purpose was clear. The beverage brand believed that a premium non-alcoholic beer would appeal to sophisticated beer drinkers and those who prefer non-alcoholic options.

Instead of offering another lager in that crowded shelf, Bero focuses on categories that appeal to beer lovers. While no one has to be a cicerone, these beverages have big, bold flavors. At the core of the brand’s philosophy is that a non-alcoholic beer should never be a consolation prize for the other beverage.

As Co-Founder Tom Holland shared, “When we launched BERO, it was about creating something that reflected my own journey and love for beer. A premium option that could seamlessly fit into your lifestyle, show up in any setting and always leave you feeling your best. It just feels right that we would keep bringing people more variety to achieve that. To already be expanding our lineup with Double Tasty feels surreal in the best way, but also really natural for what we set out to achieve. We want to offer people more - not just in the quantity of beers to choose from, but in life.”

The Double Tasty West Coast Style IPA is the first new offering from the brand. It joins the three flavors from the initial launch: Kingston Golden Pils, Edge Hill Hazy IPA, and Noon Wheat. The new Double Tasty was a result of listening to fans’ feedback on what they wanted to drink.

Adding a West Coast Style IPA heading into the summer is a smart choice for Bero. While many people are drawn to easy drinking, sessionable beers during warmer months, others want a beverage that pairs well with a variety of food options. The pairing versatility makes it a smart choice to always have chilled.

While this non-alcoholic beer is hop forward, the bitterness is not overpowering. Combined with the piney notes, that hoppy characteristic makes an enjoyable sipper. It invites drinkers to sit, savor, and tell a few stories along the way.

When pairing this beverage with food, the underlying citrus notes can help cut through rich, fatty foods. A hearty bacon burger served on a brioche bun would be delicious. Also, it could stand up to a rich ramen dish or a spicy Dan Dan noodle.

The Bero Double Tasty is available in a single flavor 6-pack or it is included in 4-flavor variety 12-pack. In addition to Target, the non-alcoholic beers can be purchased on Amazon, Total Wine and more locations.
