Everyone knows that up and down the ALDI aisles are epic finds. From money saving options to flavorful trends, that local store is full of food, beverages, and more that people cannot wait to enjoy. For one special night, Chez ALDI opened its doors to a small group. Could this concept become the hottest dining destination?

More and more, people are looking to connect with their favorite food brands. From fashion to special trips to even tattoos, people want to shout at the rooftops their love of a particular item. It is more than just product loyalty. In a way, it is a way to express themselves.

With ALDI, people are loyal to that favorite store. Every month, they await the new list of monthly finds. Carefully budgeting special treats with weekly staples, it is easy to fill that cart with a bounty of goodness.

Ahead of Mother’s Day, the popular brand wanted to give back to some moms who do it all. In this specially created Chez ALDI, the event was a Mom’s Night Out celebration. As the team transformed its model store within the brand’s Chicagoland headquarters, this restaurant came to life with delicious food, impeccable décor, and lots of laughter.

The women at the event were extremely grateful for the opportunity. For one night all the distractions faded and the ladies were able to enjoy the moment without distractions.

Listening to the conversation, the enthusiasm was tremendous. From wanting to stay in Chez ALDI forever to this night could not be more perfect for die-hard ALDI fans, the positive comments were overflowing.

But, one question remained unanswered, is there a place for a Chez ALDI to really come to life? The idea of turning a favorite store into a restaurant is not that far fetched. Brands have hosted weddings, parties and other events in the aisles. Some stores have a little spot to eat just to the side of the checkout counter. Could ALDI offer some cooked Mama Cozzi’s pizza as takeout instead of frozen?

Although there are no plans to actually open a Chez ALDI, the idea has merit. Maybe if enough people manifest the concept, next Mother’s Day, this idea could pop-up at more stores. Flowers might wilt and chocolates can melt, but ALDI memories last forever.
