As a travel documentarian and outdoor enthusiast, Dylan Efron appreciates that a great snack must be multi-functional. Bold flavors, creative uses, and satisfying crunch are vital to overall eating enjoyment. Through his collaboration with Wasa, Efron shares his must-have snacks for the summer.

From long days surfing the waves to a big hike up the mountain, Efron is always ready to leave the couch behind and take on the next great adventure. While all those activities are fun, he appreciates that food is the fuel to keep his energy level high. Having snacks that pack well in his bag is vital.

During a recent conversation with Efron through his partnership with Wasa, he said that “when I’m out on the beach or in nature, it is not like I’m coming back. I pack snacks for the day because I’m a big snacker.”

“I’ve been packing the Wasa Crisp Crackers in my bag. Sometimes I pair them with tuna or even sardines for a hearty snack. Other times, I pair them with peanut butter or almond butter. I know that these Wasa crackers with some protein is a great on-the-go snack that travels well.”

While the toppings that he choses might vary, the Wasa crunch comes through in every bite. Efron believes that the textural contrast is vital. Wasa is a crisp bread, not necessarily a traditional cracker. It is one of the reasons why this snack works well on the go.

As Efron explained, “it’s shocking that they don’t crack as much as a normal cracker. I throw them in the bottom of my bag, even with my water bottle, and they are not all broken into pieces. Even if one piece breaks off, I use it as scoop with a dip. It is not like a bag of chips at the bottom of my bag that turns into a bag of crumbles.”

The Wasa Crisp Creations come in two flavors, Sesame and Sea Salt and Cinnamon. When asked which flavor he prefers, Efron mentioned that it depends on the time of day.

“For early mornings and late at night, I like the cinnamon flavor. I pair it with some almond butter and a slice of banana. It is either my wake up breakfast food or my nighttime munchie.”

“During the day, I like the sesame and sea salt. That savory flavor with some tuna or avocado is great. Actually, some avocado, lemon, and chili flakes on the Wasa is my favorite California snack.”

Since some people might not be familiar with Wasa and its products, Efron has a very simple explanation that conveys what it is like. He said, “it is like toast on the go. I love an open face sandwich and avocado toast is my thing.”

“With Wasa, I have my crunchy fix with whatever topping that I want. This food helps everyone discover how we should be eating. It is not a fad. For someone who wants to avoid processed food, these Wasa crackers, with some protein, is a real snack that is going to sustain you when you are out on the go or on an adventure.”

With a bag full of Wasa and a sense of adventure, Efron is looking forward to a big summer. As seen on his socials, he is always willing to step up and take the opportunity. Although he could not reveal some big news, Efron has a bag full of tasty food to fuel that journey.
