As the school year ends, the summer fun begins. The state fair is often part of those traditions. While rides offers thrills, the main draw is often the food. This year’s new Flipz State Fair flavor is a taste of a favorite fried treat that has everyone asking for seconds.
Flipz has become many people’s favorite sweet and salty snack. From the crisp, crunch of the pretzel to the delicate chocolate coating, it is easy to finish a bag with a friend.
Over the years, the brand has transformed that classic chocolate flavor. The classic pretzel has become donuts, churros, and other dessert inspired treats. This year, the newest flavor to join the limited edition State Fair offering will have everyone asking for more.
The Fried Chocolatey Sandwich Cookie flavor captures that dessert without worrying about burning your mouth or spilling on your shirt. As Shivani Arora, Marketing Director, pladis Americas explained “Flipz State Fair is our much-awaited summer LTO platform which taps into consumers’ desire for novelty and escapism. Back for the third year in a row, this time we are bringing consumers a brand new Fried Chocolatey Sandwich Cookie flavor, which is just as comforting and nostalgic as it is delicious.”
The key to this snack is that the coating captures all three layers of the fried chocolate cookie sandwich. There is a buttery, dough note that is instantly recognizable. Then, the rich chocolate follows and the sweet cream finishes the flavor. It is that perfect balance of sweet and salty. Move over swicy because summer is all about this sweet combination.
Since this special Flipz flavor is available for a limited time, it is best to stock on a few extra bags. Plus, the Flipz pretzels with some freshly made popcorn would be an awesome snack mix. That option is not available at the state farm. Or, consider pairing this flavor with vanilla ice cream. All the food pairing possibilities will definitely require purchasing multiple bags.
This season’s Flipz State Fair flavor Fried Chocolatey Sandwich Cookie is available at various retailers, like Walgreens, Publix, and Albertson's. Additionally, Dollar General will sell a 2.5 oz bag.
