Heidi Klum transforms a favorite candy into the ultimate Halloween cocktail
With the witching hour quickly approaching, party hosts are stocking the bar cart with both sweet and spooky sippers. This year Heidi Klum has a firm grasp on the ultimate Halloween cocktail, and no one better lay a finger on her Butterfinger-Tini.
Heidi Klum is the queen of Halloween. There might be another mistress of the night, but Klum is always raising the bar with her events and costumes. The amount of planning, effort, and creativity to get everyone’s jaw to drop is extreme.
Although many people would love to strut the red carpet along with Klum and her celebrity friends, some people’s invitations might have been sent to the wrong address. But, it does not mean that everyone can bring a little sparkle and sweetness to their Halloween celebrations.
This year, Klum is shaking up the Butterfinger-Tini. This spooky and sweet cocktail channels the iconic Butterfinger candy bar. It is chocolatey, peanut butter forward. More importantly, it has a sense of whimsy while staying true to the classic food.
For anyone who would like to sip their dessert or wants their own treat after taking the kids from door to door, this Halloween cocktail is perfect. It is relatively easy to make but it packs a flavor punch.
Plus, it is another example why peanut butter whiskey needs to be on everyone’s bar shelf. From this special cocktail to a multitude of other options, that flavored whiskey has versatility.
Here’s how to make the Butterfinger-Tini.
Ingredients:
2 ounces peanut butter whiskey
1 ounce chocolate syrup
½ ounce Butterscotch Syrup
3 dashes chocolate bitters
1 1/2 ounces cream or non-dairy creamer
Method:
To create the Butterfinger-Tini, add all measured ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake vigorously for 10 seconds and double strain into a Butterfinger rimmed martini glass. For the Butterfinger rim, brush a martini glass with peanut butter and roll the rim of the glass in Butterfinger Bits or crushed bars. Finally, sip and enjoy!
A couple of notes on garnish. First, if a more chocolate forward cocktail is preferable, use chocolate icing instead of the peanut butter to rim the glass. This option can make the glass less sticky, too.
Also, if using peanut butter, smooth can be a better choice. The crunchy pieces can make it harder for the Butterfinger to stay on the glass.
Lastly, remember to serve a Butterfinger with the cocktail. Just like the cherries make a cocktail tastier, a little snack sized Butterfinger can make this toast even more festive.
