Ketchup, mustard, and even barbecue sauce might be popular sauces, but they are just the starting point of the condiment conversation. With the new Heinz Flavor Tour line, these three new sauces give home cooks the ability to amplify flavor with a side of convenience.

To say that the food world is having a “saucy” moment might be an understatement. From chicken nuggets get a bath in swicy flavors to pizza slices drizzled in hot honey, people crave layered flavors.

Sauces not only keep food from being bland, it is a way to customize a dish without becoming overwhelming. Even the person who has limited culinary knowledge can turn a simple bowl into a spectacular meal.

The new Heinz Flavor Tour line traverses the globe with its taste inspiration. The offerings are: Mexican Inspired Street Corn, Korean Inspired Sweet and Tangy BBQ, and Thai Inspired Sweet Chili.

Speaking about the new product launch, Angie Madigan, Vice President, Taste Elevation Marketing at The Kraft Heinz Company said, “Americans are hungry for condiments that offer globally inspired flavor and versatility at an accessible price point, and we saw an opportunity for HEINZ, a beloved and trusted brand, to inspire fun new ways for people to enjoy their favorite foods. Leveraging our expertise in creating some of the world’s most beloved sauces, we designed the Flavor Tour line as the ultimate solution for these fans.”

Before diving into each flavor, the convenience combined with building cooking confidence is key. Whether the first dollop takes simple takeout to the next level or transforms the old stand-by recipe into something exciting, any and everyone home cook can use these sauces.

Looking at the three options, the Mexican Inspired Street Corn, a smoky, creamy, and bright flavor, is the most innovative concept. From topping a chicken bowl to a topping for a taco, there are plenty of uses. While there is an underlying heat, the creaminess makes it approachable to all spice tolerances.

Korean Inspired Sweet and Tangy BBQ captures the popular globally inspired condiment. From a simple fried chicken to beef on some rice, the umami forward sauce has versatility. While there is a slight spice from the gochujang, the soy is the predominate note. Some people might even use this sauce as a salt replacement.

Lastly, the Thai Inspired Sweet Chili is the bright, tangy flavor that will become a table staple. From morning eggs to even a way to turn this sauce into a dessert ingredient, the ginger, sriracha, and sesame oil might be more popular than chili crunch.

While ketchup bottle will always be within reach, the new Heinz Flavor Tour line will have people excited to find the next use. Ready to open a bottle tonight?
