A new food battle has taken over the takeout conversation. The Little Caesars beloved pretzel crust is back, and now it is even better. Ready for Stuffed Pretzel Crust Pizza?
That pizza crust is no longer forgotten scraps discarded on the plate. All the popular pizza brands are enticing guests with stuffed options. From cheesy bites to the whole pie, no one wants plain dough anymore.
When Little Caesars launched its Pretzel Crust people loved it. That salty, heartier option sliced off a different taste and texture. Whether paired with traditional toppings or enjoyed simply with cheese, it felt like a meal and a snack wrapped into one.
Bringing back the specialty crust for this year, the pizza brand wanted to go bigger. Now that pretzel crust is stuffed.
According to Greg Hamilton, Chief Marketing Officer at Little Caesars. “We heard our fans loud and clear—they wanted Pretzel Crust back, and we knew we had to take it up a notch. With the new Stuffed Pretzel Crust, we’re allowing guests to choose their ultimate cheesy, salty, and savory experience.”
For those who do not remember the pretzel crust, it has a cheddar cheese sauce, mozzarella, and Muenster cheeses. Then, there is more cheddar cheese and a sprinkling of salt. With this release, guests can enjoy marina sauce as well as the cheese sauce.
Given that food brands are always trying to be bigger and better than their competitors, it makes sense that Little Caesars would upgrade the pretzel crust. While there are many stuffed crusts in the latest pizza war, no one else has a pretzel crust.
Looking ahead, it would be interesting to see if Little Caesars could make a stuffed pretzel appetizer. The Pizza Puffs have been a big success and the brand’s Crazy Bread is legendary. Offering a stuffed, round pretzel pizza dish could be a game changer.
For now, the Stuffed Pretzel Crust and the traditional Pretzel Crust are available starting on March 31. Additionally, the Pretzel Crust will be part of the Hot and Ready options starting April 7. Check with local restaurants for participation and pricing.
