A scoop of creamy, delicious ice cream can be quite satisfying, but sometimes a sorbet is more refreshing on a warm day. The new Häagen-Dazs sorbet flavors bring a burst of bright, fruity and tart to the bowl. Ready to scoop some culinary creativity for the warmer days ahead.

Sorbet is a curious frozen dessert. Although some people might use it as a palate cleanser, the fruity offering is a light, bright, and zesty dessert option. From the simple lemon to a combination of fruits, one spoonful satisfies.

Whether enjoyed on its own, paired with a beverage, or combined with another dessert, sorbet has numerous serving ideas. With the new Häagen-Dazs sorbet flavors, the culinary creativity is even greater.

As Rachel Jaiven, Head of Häagen-Dazs Marketing explained, “Today, we’re making it official – this summer will be the season of sorbet. With the launch of our three new Häagen-Dazs Sorbet flavors, we’re celebrating bold fruit flavor pairings and growing our portfolio of delicious, non-dairy sorbets that make every moment feel like summer, no matter the time of year.”

What are the new Häagen-Dazs sorbet flavors?

Available now, the three new sorbets are: Summer Blueberry and Lemon, Passion Fruit and Sweet Pear, and Sweet Lemon Coconut. Whether eaten on their own or even combined together, the sorbets have various pairing possibilities.

The Passion Fruit and Sweet Pear might be the most unusual combination. The pear is juicy and sweet while the passion fruit is slightly tart. Pear is not often paired with tropical flavors, but this combination is exciting.

Thinking about this pairing, it would be lovely before a cheese course. Also, it would be lovely with a pear tart.

The Summer Blueberry and Lemon is a classic combination. It epitomizes summer. This sorbet served with a slice of butter pound cake would be divine.

Lastly the Sweet Lemon Coconut would be the perfect option for a cocktail. A single scoop served in a coupe glass and a sparkling wine floater would be the perfect brunch or dessert cocktail. It adds a little sparkle to any occasion.

The new sorbet flavors are sold in 14 oz containers. They are available in stores now and have a suggested retail price of $6.99.
