Noodles and Company debut three new menu items as part of its flavor transformation
As the foundation of many recipes, noodles can be transformed with a multitude of flavor combinations. Noodles and Company adds three new menu items, and guests will appreciate the bold choices.
Over the past several months, Noodles and Company has been evolving its menu. From collaborations with iconic characters to special value deals, like kids eat free, it seems that every week there are additional reasons to head to the restaurant.
While these special events bring excitement, they cannot happen without the restaurant brand’s commitment to a solid foundation, the noodle. Without a delicious macaroni, spaghetti or even cavatappi, all the dishes would not be as successful.
Given that the food brand has a versatile foundation, the restaurant’s menu can easily expand to incorporate trends, preferences, and more. The newest menu expansion is an example.
According to Noodles and Company, it is debuting three new menu items. They are Lemon Garlic Shrimp Scampi, Chipotle Chicken Cavatappi, and Crispy Chicken Bacon Alfredo.
Speaking to the menu addition, Scott Davis, chief concept officer at Noodles and Company said, "Our new Lemon Garlic Shrimp Scampi, Chipotle Chicken Cavatappi, and Crispy Chicken Bacon Alfredo are just the beginning for Noodles and Company. This launch is a significant milestone in our journey to deliver more sophisticated, dynamic flavors to our guests, and we're confident that our fans—new and old alike—will find something to love. We're just getting started, and these three new dishes are only the beginning of what's to come."
Looking at the three food choices, the Chipotle Chicken Cavatappi is the most interesting. In a way, it is food fusion. Chipotle and pasta are not necessarily the most common pairing. The roasted red peppers offer an approachable heat, and the smoky chipotle brings nuance. For anyone who loves Southwestern cuisine, this menu item is a must try.
The Crispy Chicken Bacon Alfredo is the richest menu item. While there is broccoli, the combination of the 4-cheese alfredo and bacon is quite unctuous. Hearty appetites will appreciate the robust dish.
Lastly, the Lemon Garlic Shrimp Scampi feels like dish found on other sit-down restaurant menus. It is slightly elevated, yet approachable. The addition of artichokes is a nice touch. Again, it is a nod to sophistication.
While many people will run to get one of these new menu items, Noodles and Company is not stopping with just this menu launch. As alluded to in their statement, more food launches will be coming. With the holidays approaching, could there be a twist on Thanksgiving dinner or a turkey forward dish? Maybe there will be a take on a holiday roast. Only time will tell.
