From being the King of Beers to the brand’s iconic Clydesdales, Anheuser Busch is one of the most recognizable beverage brands. In partnership with 1st Phorm and Dana White, Phorm Energy is the first product launched and it has everyone taking notice.
Within the functional beverage and energy beverage space, the options are many. From partnerships with Formula 1 to lifestyle brands fueled by pop culture connections, this category is more crowded than the American lager market.
While ingredients and flavors matter, this beverage category is driven by personal connection. It is more than just a burst of caffeine to power through the afternoon. People want to feel part of a group, connection with a concept, or otherwise appreciate how this story fits within their lifestyle choices.
With Phorm Energy, the beverages are said to appeal to people who “embrace grit, discipline, and resilience.” These beverages are not for sitting on the beach or mixing into mocktails. They are for the people who see the challenge, tackle it, and prepare for the next task.
Even the brand’s tagline, “We Do the Work together” captures that willingness to act. It feels as if the bigger, bolder, or difficult is just another task to master.

What are the Phorm Energy flavors?
As part of this product announcement, Phorm Energy launched with four flavors: Screamin’ Freedom, Blue Blitz, Orange Fury, and Grape Smash. As the names suggest, these flavors are meant to stand up and take notice. The person who grabs one of these cans will never back down from a challenge and is focused to finish the job.
Looking at the four flavors, the Screamin’ Freedom will have a clear appeal to people beyond the energy drink category. Just the name alone will drive purchases. The flavor is more fruit forward. Blending cherry, blueberry, and citrus, it sounds more like a fruit punch offering. But, this “punch” will help drinkers knock out anything on the agenda.
The Grape Smash is the most interesting flavor. Grape is not a common choice in the energy or functional hydration space. The flavor is similar to a grape soda or a grape candy. Many people will appreciate that burst of sweetness but more importantly it captures a sense of nostalgia. Sometimes a classic, well-known flavor will make people want to try a sip just because.
All the Phorm Energy beverages contain green tea extracts, have zero sugar and zero artificial flavors. It is now available at phormenergy.com, for customers over 18. Additionally retailers will be available soon.
