2024 NHL Winter Classic menu celebrates Pacific Northwest flavors
As the Seattle Kraken battle the Vegas Golden Knights at T-Mobile Stadium on January 1, the 2024 NHL Winter Classic menu brings together some of the most flavorful bites of the region. From classic seafood dishes to celebrating local delicacies, the food and beverages have everyone cheering.
The annual NHL Winter Classic is more than a celebration of hockey greatness. Many food and sports fans gather together for the special experience. For the first time, the special hockey event will be held west of the Central time zone. The T-Mobile Park hospitality team, Sodexo Live, appreciates that a great meal will make the day even more memorable.
Speaking to the 2024 NHL Winter Classic menu, Meagan Murray, District Manager, Sodexo Live!, said, “We’re so excited to kick off the New Year with this once-in-a-lifetime event. It’s been so much fun to plan for this, and to get creative – whether with the fried chicken ice cream, poutine burger or coconut hot chocolate – so we can give fans an incredible experience. Our team of culinarians, servers, and bartenders have looked forward to helping host this event for a while, and we’re ready for some hockey!”
What are some of the 2024 NHL Winter Classic menu highlights?
The 2024 NHL Winter Classic menu features a diverse selection of food items. In addition to classic stadium fare, the menu highlights local favorites. From Pike’s Place Clam Chowder to the Footlong Dungeness Crab Roll, the chefs show that seafood deserves prime billing next to the burgers and hot dogs.
Speaking of burgers, the House-Smoked BBQ Pork Belly Sliders are always a top choice. For a huge offering, consider opting for the Poutine Burger from Lil Woody’s. The classic brown gravy, fries and cheese on top of the beef burger requires extra napkins for the over the top bite.
While there is wide array of savory items on the menu, the desserts are equally creative. For example, the infamous Salt and Straw is offering a take on fried chicken ice cream with the Cinnamon & Honey Fried Chicken Ice Cream. Some people might place the order to just say that they tried it.
Since it might be a little chilly for the outdoor game, why not warm up with the Coconut Hot Chocolate from Marination. The coconut syrup might not instantly bring a tropical breeze, but the warm beverage will keep the cold away.
