As the anticipated Alien: Romulus hits theaters, Angel City Brewery is celebrating the popular movie franchise by tapping Aspen Beer. For the first time, the fictional beer departs the space void for some earthly sipping.

Fans of the popular Aliens franchise have seen a fictional beer featured in the various movies. While those eagle eyed movie buffs might have wondered if the brew was the real deal, the wait is over thanks to Angel City Brewery.

In the latest Alien movie, the franchise is inspired by the original storyline that had people wondering what beast could devour them. While the characters might hope to find a bounty in the derelict space station, the outcome is far some desirable. Many of them would hope to find a cold beer waiting after their unfortunate encounters.

The special, limited edition Aspen Beer has the visual look just like the film. Featuring the Weyland Yutani logo and winged emblem,  just the can, itself, will be a collectible item for many Alien buffs. It might go next to that prized Riley figurine.

While the packaging is visually impressive, the beer is a great choice for people who love an easy drinking Blonde Ale. At 5% ABV, the beer is a sessionable variety that is a good sipper to enjoy for a double feature or as post- movie beverage to calm the nerves after all those frights.

A Blonde Ale is a nice choice for this particular offering. Given that the Angel City Brewery has won awards for its L.A. Blonde, this latest offering fits into that easy drinking, yet nuanced beer. Unlike some blondes that have no substance, these beers make people take notice and ensure that people want to enjoy another pour.

The specialty Alien: Romulus Aspen Beer from Angel City Brewery is available now for a limited time. It can be enjoyed on draft at the brewery or can be purchased in a 4-pack of cans. Additionally, select theaters in Los Angeles will feature the specialty beer on draft.
