At California Pizza Kitchen, the perfectly cooked dough is a vehicle for a variety of ingredients. While many people have a favorite food choice, a specialty offering can spark a loyal following and guests will make visit after visit to satisfy that craving. With its first of six seasonal menu offerings, another fan favorite has returned to the menu.

Speaking to the seasonal menu launch, Paul Pszybylski, VP of Culinary Innovation said, “CPK has a reputation for innovation, and we’re excited to be setting a record with six limited time launches this year. I’m personally excited for the return of the Korean BBQ Steak Pizza. Back by popular demand, the pizza is a fun twist on the classic BBQ style pizza CPK has been making for nearly 40 years.”

According to California Pizza Kitchen, the limited time Korean BBQ Steak Pizza is returning to the menu. Although nothing will ever replace the Original BBQ Chicken, the Korean BBQ Steak Pizza has a bold flavor combination that had guests asking for more.

The Korean BBQ Steak Pizza features “charred steak, Korean BBQ sauce and melted mozzarella, and topped with spicy sriracha-lime hot sauce.” While the Korean BBQ sauce is quite enjoyable, it is the spicy sriracha-lime hot sauce that sets this pizza option apart. It is bold, spicy, and a kick of umami. The flavor is one that many people wish that the brand would bottle.

In addition to the Korean BBQ Steak Pizza, California Pizza Kitchen is offering a new Miso Shrimp Salad. Featuring the signature CPK honey-miso dressing, the salad is sweet and tangy. Adding the variety of textures from the two types of cabbage, avocado, cucumber and edamame, it is quite a satisfying meal. No one would ever say that this salad is a sacrifice.

Lastly, California Pizza Kitchen is adding a new cocktail to the menu, the Tito ‘Rita. Referencing a classic margarita, this cocktail combines Titos Handmade Vodka with Cointreau, agave, and fresh lemon and lime juice. It has the bright, citrusy flavor which would pair well with either of the new menu items.

These food options are available at participating California Pizza Kitchen restaurants now through March 25, 2024. Check with locations for participating and pricing.
