In addition to the milkshake, Chick-fil-A is offering Banana Frosted Coffee. This idea is totally unique in the quick service restaurant and coffee space. While others are going full speed ahead with pumpkin spice and other fall flavors, it is good to see Chick-fil-A going in a totally different option.

Plus, banana and coffee are a unique flavor option. Could it start a new trend? Only time will tell.

While the banana offerings are quite appealing, another fan favorite is returning to the menu, but with a little extra kick. The Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich is back, with a spicy option. The new twist is based on consumer preferences.

As Chick-fil-A Chef, Stuart Tracy said, “When we released the Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich last fall, not only did we receive overwhelmingly positive feedback, but we also saw our Guests making their own unique twists by swapping the Original filet for the Spicy filet. They inspired us to officially offer a Spicy version as its own menu item, and we are thrilled to deliver what we know our Guests want more of!”

For anyone who does not remember, the Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich is a bold nod to blending two Southern favorites. First, the Chick-fil-A chicken is drizzled with honey. Then, it is smothered with pimento cheese and sprinkled with some pickled jalapenos. It was flavorful, but some people prefer a bolder heat. It is a sweet, savory, and satisfying bite that feels like a Southern classic.

Now the sandwich can have a little more kick. Guests can choose to have a spicy filet instead of the traditional option. This swap makes the overall flavor a little more intense, but still approachable.

The Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich as well as the Banana Pudding Milkshake and Banana Coffee will be available starting on August 26. These food items will be available for a limited time, at participating Chick-fil-A restaurants.
