When Chloe Fineman appears on screen, everyone anticipates the witty lines, well-crafted characters, and big dose of humor in those SNL skits. All that creativity might be spinning in the deep crevices of her mind, but they need a little boost to get them on paper. A great cup of coffee is often the beverage that fuels those writing sessions. Thanks to her partnership with Ninja Luxe Café, Fineman can brew a little extra creativity in her mug, too.

Coffee is a morning ritual, a break from an afternoon slump, and just the constant beverage in the cup. Over the past several years, coffee went from that simple cup of joe to a carefully crafted food. From fluffy foams to layered concoctions, coffee drinkers want to stare into that mug and complicate the complexities waiting to be sipped.

At the same time, all those extras come with added expenses. When the monthly coffee budget is more than an annual Peacock subscription, some adjustments need to be made. At the same time frugality should not come with a cup of compromise. Finding the right kitchen essential that offers a coffee-shop experience in the home kitchen is vital.

Ninja Luxe Café is that option. With the ability to make 3-in-1 espresso drinks at the push of a button, the versatility one machine offers is what coffee drinkers crave. From a drip coffee to a mid-afternoon cold brew to the end of the day espresso, everything is an option.

To kick off the launch of the Ninja Luxe Café, the brand partnered with Chloe Fineman. While many people stay up late to watch her and the rest of the SNL ensemble add some humor to life’s hot topics, the talented entertainer is just like us. Coffee is her love language and it fuels her day.

As part of the launch, Fineman graciously spoke to FoodSided about her Ninja Luxe Café partnership, her thoughts on her favorite coffee, and some of her favorite SNL characters.

Cristine Struble/FoodSided: Some coffee drinkers have a signature or favorite drink. If you have one, what is it and does it change based on the season?

Chloe Fineman: I like a cold brew that's like half the size of my body and I drink it every day of the year.

CS: Many people choose to run to the local bodega, coffee shop, or restaurant to grab a coffee, why do you think it’s better to use the Ninja Luxe Café to brew that beverage at home?

CF: I think that you know, I live in New York in real time. My favorite coffee shop had a pipe burst, so I can't go there, and then all the coffee shops around me have lines out the door. And frankly, I need caffeine so desperately to wake up in the morning. So, to get to like, do it myself and make it have that barista-level quality with, you know, foam and make latte art.

You can do it all with the Ninja Luxe Café – it just takes time.  And honestly, it helps take the money out of the equation too – all these drinks at coffee shops add up.

CS: Caffeine often fuels late nights, keeps the brain alert, and otherwise acts as a pick me up. Do you turn to a coffee break when you have a writing or inspiration block? If so, do you always choose the same beverage or do you switch it up occasionally?

CF: Oh, absolutely. I am a big cold brew person, but I do find that having an espresso late at night to be delightful. It feels kind of fancy like you're having a little martini or something.

CS: You are known for many creative, spot-on characters. Is there a process that you use to get into character?

CF: If it's like a real person, like an impression, I'm addicted to watching interviews and listening to podcasts and just like watching whoever I'm portraying as much as possible. I'm so grateful for TikTok. As you can find compilations of anybody, and it certainly has saved me a lot of time in my life.  I’m addicted to the TikTok searches for whoever, whether they’re a real person or made up – you know like putting on a wig and talking to myself like a crazy lady.

CS: Do you ever feel pressure to live up to your success?

CF: Pressure to live up to my success. Hmm, I feel like I'm constantly working hard to be more successful, so I think I enjoy the process of hard work and success being such a nice thing when it happens. But I do think I’m really lucky to work at something I genuinely love, and it doesn't feel hard. So, success is getting to just do what you love to me is a big success – anything beyond that is the cherry on top.

CS: Is there a character that you loved and wished resonated with people more?

CF: Gosh, I mean, I certainly think an impression of maybe a Real Housewife that I was obsessed with. But when I did that, the younger-gen audience had no idea who I was and that was the first time where I was like wow, I’m a millennial.  So that one was hard. They will remain nameless, but yeah, hopefully, I’ll get to do more of my Housewives on the show.

CS: National Coffee Day is on September 29, how will you be celebrating this year?

CF: I’ll be celebrating in the way that I celebrate every year! Which is drinking a LOT of coffee. But now I have my amazing Ninja Luxe Café – so now I have a variety to choose from. You know I can start with my cold brew, a hot coffee, and then an espresso coffee because it's 3-in-1 and lets you create all those different drinks and lets you celebrate coffee in the way that it should be celebrated which is with variety.
