Erewhon’s Equinox EV Electric Juice recharges the body and mind

Many people appreciate the food and beverages that they consume have an impact on how they feel. A similar idea applies to other life choices, like the car that people choose to drive. The collaboration between Erewhon and Chevy brings together the two concepts. Thirsty for a sip of Erewhon’s Equinox EV Electric Juice?

For many people, their car is more than just the vehicle that takes them from place to place. It is a place of respite, where they eat drive-thru food, or enjoy that morning beverage. Also, the car makes a statement. It is more than the color or make which people consume when they see it moving down the street.

People’s food choices tell something about their personality, as well. The person who prioritizes organic produce or prefers to shop at a farmer’s market has different priorities. It is not that one person’s choices are superior to another. But, those eating habits define who they are.

When Chevy partnered with Erewhon, the idea of bringing together two unlikely brands might have seemed a little out of the box. On second look, the idea has some flavorful merit.

Both brands are fostering a conversation about sustainability in their own fields, Chevy, through its Equinox EV and in celebration of National Electric Drive Week, and Erewhon, through its organic foods and wellness products. While the vibrantly colored tonic will get heads turning, hopefully people will have a conversation that lasts longer than sipping the specialty beverage.

Erwhon’s Equinox EV Electric Juice combines the plant-protein chocho and blue spirulina. The color connection for this beverage offering is abundantly apparent. While blue might not necessarily be the most common natural beverage offering, it will get people to look.

Having had an opportunity to try the specialty tonic, the flavor is mild. Generally blue spirulina has no real identifiable flavor. It is not boldly earthy like the green variety.

Choco tends to be a little nutty, more like a pumpkin seed. That ingredient adds a viscous quality to the beverage. It is easy to drink and enjoyable. It might not be the most common morning beverage, but it is one that jump started my day.
