Grubhub delivers the flavorful push present that new moms crave
From anxious moments to tears of joy, moms experience all the emotions during childbirth. When it is all over, there is one thing left, an insatiable hunger to eat all those favorite food choices. Luckily, Grubhub has a special delivery just for new moms.
Although women’s personal preferences and doctor guidance varies, pregnant women often have a list of “don’t” or cannot eat foods. Whether it is sushi, soft cheese, or even that diet soda, there are a myriad of reasons why those items are off the table. It could just be the heartburn that causes restless nights.
While everyone is cooing over the beautiful, healthy baby in the bassinet, moms might have something else on their mind, food. All that pushing is tiresome. While some new moms might be hoping for a sparkly push present, a more immediate gift can be delivered to the room thanks to Grubhub.
According to Grubhub, “75 percent of expectant moms consider their first postpartum meal as part of their birth plan.” Even though dreaming of that double espresso might be more fantasy than reality in the final months, Grubhub is ready to fulfill all those cravings.
As Christopher Krautler, Director of Grubhub Consumer Communications said, “We were so inspired by all the new moms sharing their post-delivery meals on social. The anticipation, excitement, and intense cravings are unmistakable. Grubhub is all about delivering joy during life’s biggest moments – and with Special Delivery, we’re making sure the meal they crave after giving birth is exactly what they’ve been dreaming of."
Although my post-delivery meal was many years ago, I can still recall how my husband went to my favorite Cajun restaurant, filled the bag with etouffee, gumbo, fondue, oysters, and hushpuppies. Granted, I did not eat even a 1/3 of that bag, just a few bites of all those delicious flavors that I had not eaten in nine months was pure heaven. It was a quick way to wipe away all the tiredness.
With the Grubhub Special Delivery program, expecting moms can fulfill their post-delivery food cravings, too. Now through the end of August, moms can enter to claim $20 towards their post-delivery meal. The offer starts every Wednesday at noon through the end of August. More details can be found at GrubhubSpecialDelivery.com and it is available while supplies last.
Whether it is a habanero salsa smothered burrito, a tuna poke bowl, or maybe just a big bowl of ice cream (without the pickles). No matter the food craving, Grubhub has an option ready. This push present is one that everyone deserves.
