While people might swoon over the extravagant Valentine’s Day celebrations, friendship is often a love story that lasts a lifetime. With the new Hershey’s Kisses Snoopy collaboration, unwrapping those colorful foils might come with a story and a smile.

Periodically, Hershey’s collaborates with well-known characters. While the classic chocolate candy is the same, the wrapper adds a new element.

In this case, the pink and red foils are decorated with Snoopy and his friends. Whether people still remember reading that cartoon strip in the newspaper every day or anxiously await the seasonal television specials, Snoopy is a classic character who connects a wide audience.

Speaking to this special offering, Scott Shillet, VP, Global Hardlines & Promotions at Peanuts, shared “Since premiering in 1950, the Peanuts comic strips have celebrated heartwarming and loving friendships through the eyes of Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the rest of the gang. Bringing this collaboration to life with Hershey for Snoopy fans of all ages, via a beloved product like Hershey's Kisses, is the perfect way to add a little sweetness to the Valentine's Day season."

In the new Valentine’s Day offering, Hershey’s Kisses Snoopy designs have 18 different colorful foils. From creating a special visual to giving a heart shaped box to that best friend, seeing Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and all the other characters brings a smile and serves as a reminder that friendship stands the test of time.

What other Valentine’s Day treats join the Hershey’s Kisses Snoopy designs?

Since candy is often a popular food to express that loving feeling around Valentine’s Day, Hershey’s has a wide array of options. New this year is the Cadbury Caramello Miniatures. The small sized candies are wrapped in regal purple and lots of hearts. This offering is a little more sophisticated slant to a candy gift.

For the Reese’s lover, the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups Giant Heart Box makes a big impression. No one will be sorry to receive this huge candy present. Whether or not people share with the gift giver is up to them.

Other returning Valentine’s Day favorites include Hershey's Kisses Chocolate Dipped Strawberry Flavored candies and Hershey's Milk Chocolate Hearts King-Sized Bar. The shelf is crowded with many options to make that special someone feel loved.

Bake up some creative treats with Hershey’s Valentine’s Day treats.

While many people will happily put some candies in a basket or use them to decorate a gift on Valentine’s Day, baking some Hershey’s Valentine’s Day treats can be a great idea for any special someone. From best friends to new couples, the combination of flour, butter, and sugar could bake up some sweet memories.

One fun way to use the Hershey’s Kisses Snoopy offering would be to create some paw print cookies. By changing the shape of the classic thumbprint to a paw print, it would add to the cute visual. The sweet food puns could add to the entertainment.

The Hershey's Kisses Chocolate Dipped Strawberry Flavored would make a fun layer in a cake or trifle. Stacking a few of those Kisses in between layers would add a burst of fruity sweetness and a textural change.

Basically, there are many ways to use any and all of the Hershey’s Valentine’s Day treats. Hopefully, the treats will be gone before the Easter bunny comes hopping along the trail.
