Island Resort Summer of Seltzer Festival bubbles up satisfying sips
While the summer days might be fleeting, Fort Walton Beach is ready to keep the party going for another weekend. At the Island Resort Summer of Seltzer Festival on August 24, the libations will be flowing all afternoon long.
Even though Florida might not get a big blast of cold air or a dramatic color change, the transition from summer to fall is still part of the conversation. From school starting to the daily afternoon rain storms ending, there are certain elements that signify summer is fading.
To give everyone one more day of frivolity, the Island Resort Summer of Seltzer Festival is the perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Held at the Beach Patio by Tripp Tide Beach Bar, the event will feature over 150 hard seltzers, hard teas, canned cocktails and more.
Ticket holders can enjoy unlimited seltzer-tasting samples. The special event will feature well-known brands like Vizzy and niche offers like 3 Cool Cats and Palm Folly Hard Seltzer.
In addition to the seltzers, the festival includes a variety of hard teas, malt beverages, and even some ready to drink cocktails. Although no one has to sing “Tiny Bubbles,” the afternoon will be full of plenty fizzy enjoyment.
Also, there will be a wide array of non-alcoholic options, too. From frescas to mocktails, everyone will be included in the refreshing fun.
The afternoon is meant to be a celebration of flavor, community, and frivolity. As the waves hit the sand, all the cares and worries wash away. From dancing to the live music to playing games, no one will be sitting in the corner bored to tears.
Also, the special event gives back to the local community. According to the organizers, Special Forces Association Chapter 7, “which directly supports the veterans, soldiers, and families of the special forces community” will benefit from ticket sales.
From local Emerald Coast residents to Floridians looking to have a quick weekend getaway, the Island Resort Summer of Seltzer Festival is the place to be this weekend. Tickets are $35 in advance or $40 at the door. The event will be held August 24, 2024 from 1-4 p.m., rain or shine.
