Jack Link's Fritos Chili Cheese flavor is a craveable snacking innovation

Certain flavors just hit differently. Whether it is a taste from childhood or a food that has become a developed taste, the reality is that a snack, seasoning, or brand can be that constant comfort whenever the craving hits. Jack Link’s Fritos Chili Cheese is that protein forward snack.  

Jack Link’s is more than just another beef jerky on the shelf. Even though the classic flavors will always have their place, the brand has come to appreciate that food collaborations not only bring excitement but also expand the portfolio in creative ways.  

Recently, Jack Link’s added a Flamin’ Hot variety to its line-up. Although no one had to be worried about “cheetle” fingers, the iconic flavor works well with the jerky. With some bites being bold and others more subtle, it brought the unexpected to the bag.  

This time around, Jack Link’s Frito Chili Cheese joins the portfolio. Whether enjoyed on its own or paired with one of the other flavors, people are running to get that first taste.  

According to Molly Russell, Director of Marketing for the Jack Link's brand, "We're proud to continue expanding our portfolio with Frito-Lay to deliver these epic flavors to new and existing jerky lovers. In addition to these new flavors, we're expanding our co-branded portfolio with the Cheese Stick & Meat Combination, which will help level up meat snacks fans' snacking experience." 

While most people will happily chew on this jerky or munch on that meat stick, the new flavor opens more possibilities than just a grab and go bite. Even though jerky is not necessarily a component in many recipes, it might be time to change that.  

For example, why not make a walking taco with some Fritos and the Jack Link’s Fritos Chili Cheese flavor. It might be a slow stroll to eat, but it is worth enjoying. Or, why not add a few pieces on top of a baked potato or some tater tots for a heartier bite.  

Sometimes it is good to think outside of the snack aisle. Transforming that food into something more can be quite satisfying.
