What are the new “happy hatch” Spring Mini Doughnuts at Krispy Kreme?

Starting on March 19 through Easter Sunday, the Krispy Kreme Spring Mini Doughnuts come in four flavors: Mini Birds Nest Doughnut made with Cadbury Mini Eggs, Strawberry Egg Doughnut, Hatching Chick Doughnut, and Robin’s Egg Doughnut. While each mini doughnut has a visually enticing look, it is the flavors that have people ordering an extra dozen.

These mini doughnuts celebrate the classic, original glazed doughnut. While the decoration makes each one unique, it is the signature sweet flavor that has everyone cheering for another bite. Plus, the smaller size adds a little whimsy.

Even though each one has similarities, the mini-doughnuts  have enough differences to make them stand out. For example, the Strawberry Egg Doughnut has that sweet jammy, fruitiness that people appreciate at the start of Spring. Plus, the pretty pink color makes a statement on the plate.

The wow factor of the four flavors is the Mini Birds Nest Doughnut made with the Cadbury Mini Egg. The combination of buttercream, sprinkles and Cadbury Mini Eggs is a bounty of sweetness. While the doughnuts might a treat to start the day, they would make a great dessert for Easter dinner. It could be a way to keep sticky hands from diving into those Easter basket treats.

The other two doughnuts, Hatching Chick Doughnut and Robin’s Egg Doughnut, are great visually. From the bright yellows to the delicate blues, these mini doughnuts would be a perfect element in a Spring brunch.

The Krispy Kreme Happy Hatch Spring Mini Doughnuts are available now through Easter. Check with local stores for availability and pricing.
