While that Red Light might instantly cause a craving, many people long to take a break with a sweet treat.  The new Krispy Kreme Kit Kat Collection is the ultimate flavor combination and everyone will be running to get that first taste.

Starting on April 10, everyone can head to their local store to get that first taste of the Krispy Kreme Kit Kat Collection. The three flavors are Kit Kat Crunch, Kit Kat Cookie Dream Doughnut, and Kit Kat Salted Caramel Brownie. From doughnut fans to Kit Kat lovers, there are plenty of reasons to order a second dozen.

Some people might have predicted this collaboration when Kit Kat launched a Chocolate Frosted Donut Bar. That specialty flavor captured that yeast donut flavor, but it was missing one element. The warm, tempting aroma that fills the room has those Original Glazed doughnuts get smothered in that warm glaze.

The new Krispy Kreme Kit Kat Collection is the ultimate food mash-up. Speaking about the new offering, Dave Skena, Global Chief Brand Officer for Krispy Kreme said, “Life is busy. Take a break with our new Kit Kat Collection. Every creamy, crispy, chocolatey-sweet bite will help turn that busy day into a sweet one.”

The main reason why these new doughnuts are exciting is because of the textural component. While there are cookie doughnuts, the crispy, light texture of a Kit Kat bar is different. The sweetness is always there, but the texture makes that each bite different. Contrasting that element with the pillowy Original Glazed doughnut is sublime.

The Kit Kat Crunch Doughnut is the simplest offering. Kit Kat pieces and chocolate flavored crispies sit on top of an Original Glazed doughnut with a Hershey’s Milk Chocolate icing. This doughnut would be delightful with a cup of coffee.
