Krispy Kreme’s Pumpkin Spice Original Glazed doughnut is back

That iconic glaze waterfall is falling for Pumpkin Spice, once again.  The seasonal favorite, Pumpkin Spice Original Glazed doughnut, is back. But, people better act quickly because these treats will disappear sooner than you think.

As pumpkin spice invades every aspect of people’s lives, people swoon over those warm, cozy flavors. Even if the trend might have jumped the shark with some of its questionable offerings, certain food options are perfect for that seasonal flavor. Krispy Kreme doughnuts are one.

While the popular doughnut brand has several fall flavored options in the bakery case, like the new  Golden Harvest Collection, the reality is people love that Pumpkin Spice Original Glaze doughnut. Now, for just a few days, people can satisfy that craving.

Friday, September 20 through Sunday, September 22, the seasonal favorite food is back. The specialty offering is available both by the dozen and individually. But, like the magic in a spell, the treat is short lived. Fans will have to get their fill over the three-day special.

Also, Krispy Kreme is offering $2 Original Glazed Dozen with the purchase of a dozen doughnuts. Why not get some pumpkin spice and some originals. It seems like a doughnut party is happening this weekend.

Why are Krispy Kreme’s flavored glazes so special?

Everyone knows that the classic, iconic Krispy Kreme Original Glazed Doughnut is a food iconic. Whether eaten warm off the line or when the box arrives at the office, people crave that sweet, fluffy texture. It is one of the world’s perfect foods.

While the Original Glaze always satisfies, the specialty, limited time glaze flavors get people excited. Over the years there have been fruit forward, salted caramel, and the beloved chocolate. But, these offerings are available sporadically, at best.
