Krispy Kreme rolls out pumpkin spice season with the perfect combo

While some people might be headed back to school, others are dreaming of fall flavors. Krispy Kreme is celebrating pumpkin spice season. Ready to get the ultimate doughnut and beverage seasonal combo?

Starting today, Krispy Kreme joins pumpkin spice season. The fan-favorite Pumpkin Spice Cake Doughnut and Pumpkin Spice Latte are back in stores starting today.

As Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme Global Chief Brand Officer, said “It’s August and we’re all ready for pumpkin spice, somehow. So, we’re bringing back the classics you’re craving. Our fans want their Krispy Kreme Pumpkin Spice Cake Doughnut and Latte right now, and we’re here for it. Stay tuned though, we’re not done spicing up the season.” 

For anyone craving pumpkin spice, Krispy Kreme classic Pumpkin Spice Cake Doughnut and Pumpkin Spice Latte are both back on the menu. Guests can enjoy hot, iced, and frozen versions of the latte.

With fall flavors taking over menus and store shelves, it is good to see that Krispy Kreme is an early entrant. More importantly, bringing back the Pumpkin Spice Cake Doughnut is a nice touch. While there have been other sweeter options in previous years, it is good to see a classic offering as the first flavor.

To be clear, this announcement is the Krispy Kreme’s first fall offering. Based on Skena’s statement, there will be more fall items coming to the food brand’s menu. What those upcoming items are will be revealed shortly.

Looking back at previous fall flavors, Krispy Kreme has offering pumpkin and cheesecake as well as other combination fall flavors. What could the next round of fall flavors be? Maybe a pumpkin cinnamon or even a pumpkin chocolate would be delicious. No one has done a pumpkin chocolate combination. It is always good to be first in the food world.

For now, the Pumpkin Spice Cake Doughnut and Pumpkin Spice Latte have returned to kick off the fall flavor food offerings. Ready to get your gourd on?
