Kroger understands that people want that great meal, but they are conscious about food costs. Instead of having to cut back on the bountiful options, the company chose to lower prices on grocery items that people want to buy.
Kroger’s grilling bundle is just $4 a person.
In a recent announcement, Kroger revealed an all-new grilling bundle. The pricing strategy includes reductions on products in the Kroger Brand, Simple Truth, and Private Selection lines.
The food savings program includes classic items including: Kroger Brand Lean Ground Beef Chuck Homestyle Hamburger Patties, Kroger Brand Sliced Cheese Singles available in American, Pepper Jack, Swiss and Four Cheese Blend, Kroger Brand Hamburger Buns available in White, Whole Wheat, Sesame and Rich’n Honey Smart Way Yellow Mustard, Smart Way Tomato Ketchup, Kroger Brand Baked Beans Brown Sugar Hickory, Kroger Brand Potato Chips Party Size available in Classic, Classic Wavy, Cheddar and Sour Cream Ripples, Sour Cream and Onion and Sweet and Mesquite BBQ, Kroger Brand Classic Garden Salad Bag, and Bakery Fresh White Frosted Sugar Cookies.
Basically, the food items create an entire meal from entrée to sides to dessert. Sometimes a simple, straightforward meal that does not break the bank is the perfect option for summer.
In addition to Kroger’s grilling bundle, the brand offers Kroger’s Locked-in-Low program. Hundreds of fan favorites are part of this offering. The lower prices show that it is listening to consumers’ concerns. Instead of people having to skip a favorite food, Kroger’s pricing strategy allows them to keep those food items in the cart.
