New Krispy Kreme Doughnut Dots are the ultimate bite sized treat

While nothing will ever replace that Original Glaze, the new Krispy Kreme Doughnut Dots assorted flavors have people hungry to snack on that sweet treat. Ready to enjoy some bite-sized doughnuts?

Time and again, Krispy Kreme looks to excite its loyal fan base. From special partnerships, like the recent Dolly Parton collaboration, to National Doughnut Day free food offerings, the reality is the iconic food brand knows how to balance new and favorite flavors. It is one of the reasons why few people cannot turn down the call of the shining Red Light.

Joining the menu for summer are new flavors of the Krispy Kreme Doughnut Dots. The newest menu items are Powdered, Sprinkled, Cinnamon, and Cookie Crumb Doughnut Dots.

Speaking about the new flavors, Dave Skena, Global Chief Brand Officer for Krispy Kreme said, “Krispy Kreme fans can now double down on delicious when picking up their regular dozen by enjoying our new lineup of Doughnut Dots. They’re bite-sized, fun, and made fresh daily. They’re perfect for sharing or you can pop 'em yourself when you’re on the go!”

While many people are familiar with the Original Glazed option, the new Dots flavors may not be the option that people expected. The obvious choice, chocolate, is not included. That bold move is smart for the doughnut brand. It is always better to stand out in a crowd rather than blend.

The most interesting flavor is definitely the Cookie Crumb. Using the Original Glazed as the base, the Dot is topped with a cookie crumb and sprinkled with sweet, powdered topping. It should have a great texture which would make this Dot a top choice.

The Sprinkled option would probably be the second must try option. With rainbow nonpareils, this doughnut might be the one that turns any day into a celebration.

To kick off the new assorted flavors coming to the menu, Krispy Kreme is celebrating Dollar Doughnut Dot Days. From June 10 through 16, guests can purchase a 10-count cup, either assorted or Original for just $1 with the purchase of a dozen doughnuts.

Krispy Kreme Doughnut Dots are sold in10‑count cup or 24-count box. They can be purchased in store, via the app, or on the brand’s website.
