PEEPS sweetens the new year with four new flavors joining the line-up
A favorite in many Easter baskets, PEEPS is ready to hop into 2024 with four new flavors. From chicks to bunnies, the excitement is building for the first taste of these sweet marshmallow treats.
When PEEPS announces new flavors, people get excited for that first taste. Over the years, the Just Born candy brand has partnered with other food brands, like Dr Pepper, Hot Tamales and others.

What are the four new PEEPS flavors for Easter 2024?
The four new PEEPS flavors feature a nod to a favorite food company, a sour punch, and a multi-textural, classic dessert. The flavors are PEEPS Rice Krispies Treats Flavored Marshmallow Chicks, PEEPS ICEE Blue Raspberry Flavored Marshmallow Chicks, PEEPS Sour Strawberry Flavored Marshmallow Chicks, and PEEPS Delights S'mores Graham Cracker Flavored Marshmallow Chicks Dipped in Milk Chocolate.
Looking at the four offerings, the PEEPS Sour Strawberry is the most interesting flavor. Sour and strawberry are not the most common combination. While sour continues to be a trending candy category, the sweetness of the strawberry combined with the marshmallow should make it a more tempered flavor.
In addition, strawberry is not necessarily an Easter flavor. Even though jelly beans might have a wide array of fruit flavors, strawberry is often a Valentine’s Day or even Mother’s Day food. Maybe the new trend is hopping into the other Spring holiday.
Overall, the new flavors build on the nostalgia food trend. Rice Krispies Treats are popular across generations. ICEE has been a longstanding favorite beverage. PEEPS seems to be making sure that its flavors have a wide reaching appeal.
While there is much excitement over the new four flavors, it is not one stop shopping to purchase each of the food options. The three of the flavors are store exclusives. PEEPS Rice Krispies Treats Flavored Marshmallow Chicks is a Walmart exclusive. ICEE Blue Raspberry Flavored Marshmallow Chicks is available only at Target. Lastly, PEEPS Sour Strawberry Flavored Marshmallow Chicks can be purchased only at Kroger Family of Stores. The PEEPS Delights S'mores Graham Cracker Flavored Marshmallow Chicks Dipped in Milk Chocolate is available everywhere.
