Now, the cruise brand is ready to toss a few more pie flavors into the mix with its new partnership with Pizza Chef Tony Gemignani.

Since Princess Cruises pizza has been a favorite with its guests, making a change to that iconic food needed to stay true to what people love but bring excitement and innovation to the pie. Pizza Chef Tony Gemignani is the perfect person to lead the way.

As John Padgett, Princess President said, "Tony is the 'GOAT' with unparalleled world championships, expertise and passion for crafting the perfect pizza." Padget believes that Tony’s signature style and flavors, which have earned him a multitude of awards, are the perfect compliment to Sun Princess’ “greatest assembly of culinary experiences at sea.” Luckily, these specialty offerings will roll out throughout the fleet, as well.

Gemignani has provided two signature pizzas as well as recipes for three of his signature, award winning pizzas. Some of the flavors include Soppressata sausage, hot honey, agave pesto, and fresh goat cheese. As the list shows, it captures new food trends while staying true to the classic pizza style that people love.

While Sun Princess will be the first to offer Gemignani’s pizzas, the specialty offerings will roll out to the fleet later this summer. The Princess chefs have been trained by Gemignani at Tony’s Pizza Napoletana in San Francisco to ensure that those original recipes are just as he imagined.
