Raising Cane’s celebrates National Iced Tea Day with a “T” icon

Raising Cane’s and its loyal Caniacs are always ready to celebrate a pop culture connection to its food and beverage menu. In honor of National Iced Tea Day, the popular fast casual brand turn to the man who is synonymous with the classic beverage. Ready to sip on some iced tea with Ice T?

Raising Cane’s bas become more than tasty chicken finger meals and a celebration of the One Love sentiment. As one of the fastest growing fast casual restaurant chains, the brand has resonated with guests beyond its satisfying food and beverage offerings. It is about finding a way to make that meal memorable and cravable so that guests keep coming back time and again.

For 2024 National Iced Tea Day, Raising Cane’s enlisted the help of man who has a deep connection with the beverage. Ice T will be pouring some of the restaurant’s brand’s infamous iced tea for the national food holiday.

The celebrated actor, rapper, and entertainer is ready to add Cane’s Fry Cook and Cashier to his long list of accomplishments. Speaking to this new collaboration, Ice T said, “It’s the national holiday celebrating me – and Cane’s iced tea – and it’s great to be working with Cane’s again on one of my favorite holidays. There are two versions of iced tea: one is sweet and one is unsweet. Both are great at Cane’s, but you only want the sweet version of Ice T!”

While Ice T might not be able to visit every Raising Cane’s location, he will be pouring some of his favorite sweet bever at the Astor Place location. During his special shift, some fans will get a surprise when their order is delivered. Unlike an episode of Law and Order SUV, there is no mystery to solve with this beverage.

According to Todd Graves, “Ice is an icon both on and off the screen, so when we were looking for someone to help us celebrate National Iced Tea Day, we knew he’d be the perfect fit. It’s great having him back at Cane’s surprising fans and Customers. There’s no one better to represent Raising Cane’s iced tea than Ice T!”

While many people will be running to the Astor Place restaurant for the potential of being served by Ice T, all Caniac Club members can get a special treat on National Iced Tea day. Available via their Caniac Club account, members can receive a free 22 oz iced tea. The offer can be redeemed in restaurants or via the app.
