Just in time for summer, the Sonic permanent menu gets a new option, the Cheesy Bacon Sonic Stack. As Mackenzie Gibson, Vice president of Culinary & Menu Innovation at Sonic explained, “for guests who are looking for something heartier to fuel their summer adventures, the Cheesy Bacon Sonic Stack is a craveable, unique addition to our cheeseburger selection that’s packed with flavor.”
According to Sonic, the new savory menu item features an all-beef, seasoned patty sandwiched between two pieces of Texas Toast. While other brands might debate the preferences over a brioche bun, potato roll, or even just a sesame seed bun, the Texas Toast makes this burger more craveable. From the slight crunch to the bolder flavor, it is a smart choice for Sonic.
Additionally, the burger includes bacon, American cheese, pickles, onion, ketchup, and mayo. It is an all-American type burger. Paired with some tots and this meal might be better than lighting up the grill.
