Sonic launches Reba’s Sweetheart Meal featuring her favorite order

Reba McEntire, the Queen of Country, has sung the praises of Sonic, America’s Drive-In. While The Voice contestants might have been tempted with tots, that side dish is only part of Reba’s favorite order. With Sonic’s new Reba’s Sweetheart Meal, the favorite quick service restaurant will have everyone falling in love with this sweet order.

Whether it is the fun of eating in the car or the love of a refreshing beverage, Sonic Drive-In has fans driving over to place their favorite order time and again. While that favorite combo meal always satisfies, limited time offerings can have guests making a change. In partnership with Reba McEntire, the new Reba’s Sweetheart Meal might be the food order that sparks a new order love affair.  

Sometimes those “celebrity like us” moments resonate with people more than a splashy advertisement or a creative take on a food trend. It might not necessarily be the same as belting out “Fancy,” but it can hit a high note with fans.  

Available February 12 through March 3, Reba’s Sweetheart Meal features her classic order, with a sweet addition. The Sonic Cheeseburger comes with everything on it and a side of tots. It is paired with a new Chocolate Covered Strawberry Shake.  

Speaking to her new collaboration with Sonic, McEntire said, "My boyfriend Rex and I have known each other since 1991. After getting reacquainted in 2020 at a dinner, he found out I love tots! That started my nickname, “Tater Tot.” My little sister, Susie, gave Rex the name “Sugar Tot.” So now, we’re The Tots! Sugar and Tater. We both love tots, especially at SONIC! They are our absolute favorite. We even spent our most memorable Valentine’s Day dinner at SONIC and will do the same this year. We encourage others to make special Valentine’s memories at SONIC this year too! Just like Sugar and Tater.”

Thinking about this new Sonic meal, it is a fun promotion ahead of Valentine’s Day. Reba’s personal connection to the brand and the food makes it relatable. That romantic moment does not have to come with a huge price tag. It is about sharing a tasty meal with someone special.  

Also, the Chocolate Covered Strawberry Shake is a great pairing with the burger and tots. Chocolate and strawberries are a classic combination, and this dessert should have wide appeal.  

Lastly, with a new season of The Voice airing, the Queen of Country will be front and center on people’s screens. It should spark some interest in enjoying her favorite combo meal with someone who makes your chair turn around.
