While all the talk might be about eggs and baskets, the reality is that Easter dessert is often a centerpiece of the holiday meal. With a few little tricks from Wilton, that sweet ending to the meal had everyone cheering.

Many people know that Wilton is the baking authority. The iconic kitchen essentials brand has everything that a baker could need. Since 1929, the brand celebrates confectionery art. From pans and bowls to the cookie cutters and decorating, people trust Wilton.

Although baking championships make quick work of visually stunning desserts, the home baker may not be quite as adept. Having a little hack or help can make a semi-homemade dessert feel more special.

This year, Easter looked a little different in our house. Instead of a table full of people, it was much more subdue. Additionally, the food spread was scaled back some and several store bought items were on the menu.

In particular, baking a scrumptious cake did not manifest itself into the schedule. But, it did not mean that dessert was pushed aside. Luckily, a little Wilton magic turned that simple vanilla cake into an Easter delight.

As many people know, Wilton has a wide array of cake decorations, including seasonal options. From colorful sprinkles to sugar pieces, the vibrantly colored toppings instantly transform a simple idea into a visually compelling one.

With just a few sugar carrots and some Easter sprinkles, the white cake became a centerpiece of the table. Additionally, colorful sprinkles covered the sides for added flare. The cake might not have come from our oven, but it had some personal touches to make it feel less store bought.

While this idea is one that people use time and again, it would not be possible without Wilton. Adding that individual creative piece makes the dessert feel a little more special. Whether each piece is carefully placed on top or shook with abandon does not matter. It is about expressing that sweet creativity.

Another idea for the holiday table is to allow people to create their own dessert with all the Wilton toppings. For example, setting up a dessert bar with iced cupcakes and all the Wilton toppings would be a fun idea for all ages. Whether kids use the whole container or adults use just a smattering, it gets people engaged with food.

Also, this idea is not limited to just baked goods. Why not add some seasonal sprinkles to the whipped topping or cold foam on the coffee. Everything tastes a little sweeter with some extra sparkle.

From holidays to just anytime when a little burst of colorful sweetness is needed, Wilton has all the toppings for any and every occasion. Ready to express yourself with some sweetness?
