Through each and every challenge, the magic of the Food Network kitchen inspired the bakers to created whimsical, impressive, and imaginative desserts to the judges. With one major challenge remaining, the Spring Baking Championship Season 11 winner showcased impressive chocolate work and a superb design to earn the covet title.
When the Spring Baking Championship Season 11 finale began, there was one element that needed to be revealed from the previous episode. Mary-Frances and Raveena battled in a sudden death bake-off to secure the third spot in the finale.

As the judges debated who deserved that last spot, it was quite close. Both bakers had lovely stories surrounding the final desserts. Additionally, Mary-Frances had started to find her groove towards the end of the competition. After struggling with too tart flavors, the balanced and nuanced notes came through.
On the other hand, Raveena had highs and lows throughout the baking competition. She was able to introduce bold flavor combinations that highlighted her personal point of view.
While the judges might have been mixed on the decision, the third spot in the finale when to Raveena. The combination of her story and her dessert earned the win.

For the last bake of Spring Baking Championship Season 11, Priya, Lisa, and Raveena had to create Marie Antoinetee Style Hair Cakes. Priya was able to assign each baker their style of cake.
This challenge was quite unique. While the bakers had to incorporate some floral flavors and a particular theme into the challenge, it was a design focused dessert. Yes, the cake needed to be well-baked and the flavors needed to be balanced. But, the design was a huge element in the overall decision.
These cakes were quite impressive. The visual nature and the bakers’ interpretation were quite creative. These desserts are not something to be found at the local bakery.
Raveena had an over the top design. While the judges marveled at the nautical visual, they were less impressed with the cake itself. The texture was quite crumbly. At this point in the competition, the judges are expecting a delicate crumb.

Lisa had a lovely visual, but the flavors were slightly unbalanced. The pistachio flavor did not come across in the dessert. Even though the delicate flowers were quite pretty, the cake was lacking balance. The two elements did not line up.
Priya offered over the top chocolate work. Her cake was the only offering that had such an intricate design. Overall, the cake had an avant-garde feel. Unfortunately, the ratio of filling to cake was imbalanced. Still, her flavors worked well together and it was a pleasant bite.

Who did the judge crown the Spring Baking Championship Season 11 winner? Congratulations to Priya. Her chocolate work, design, and flavor combination was the best of the trio.
This particular Food Network show celebrated “anything is possible.” There was plenty of magic in the Spring Baking Championship kitchen. Hopefully, some of that magic will be spread to home kitchens, too.
