As the good times roll across Universal Studios Orlando, guests will be feasting on a wide array of popular street foods. The celebration of the International Carnaval of Flavors unites cuisines from across the globe. Hungry to dig into this delicious celebration?

Running February 1 through March 30, the annual Universal Mardi Gras celebration is always a highly anticipated event. With the reveal of this year’s concert line-up, people will be counting the days to see artists like T-Pain, TLC, and Joe Jonas.

While the special concerts and nightly parades are a big draw, Universal’s culinary team has raised the bar with its food and beverage offerings. The wide array of globally inspired bites allows guests to travel the world one plate at a time.

Each of the special offerings celebrates an element of Carnaval in each of the respective countries. Of course, New Orleans favorites, like Beignets, are always part of the event. This year, a twist on low country flavors, the Cajun Mac and Cheese takes the trinity and adds a creamy, comfort food twist.

While some people crave those classics, the Universal Orlando food and beverage team is never afraid to push guests a little further with their menu options. For example, the traditional German Leberkäse is a hearty, robust bite that will have people forgetting about brats and burgers. Nestled inside a pretzel bun, the pork and beef are topped with sweet mustard and sauerkraut. When paired with a lager, people can feel that they are transported to a beer garden in Europe.

Another tasty treat is the Potato Dosa. The Indian vegetarian dish is herbaceous with its mustard seeds and cilantro dipping sauce. It is another example that shows how the Universal culinary team makes vegetarian food satisfying for all its guests.

One of the most authentic items on the menu is the Pinchos de Lechón. Often the culinary team leans into their personal connections to their culture and heritage. This menu item is a great example.

The tender pork is charred and glazed with a guava barbecue sauce. Served with pan sobao, it brings a fresh breeze from the island all the way to Orlando.

All these items and many more food and beverage offerings will be available during the Universal Mardi Gras celebration. Complete menus and prices will be shared at a later day. The event runs February 1 through March 30, 2025. The nightly parade and concerts are included in admission but food and beverages are extra.
