Disney Springs welcomes 4R Cantina Barbacoa Food Truck

Get your appetite ready. Disney Springs will be home to the 4R Cantina Barbacoa Food Truck and fans of this Orlando restaurant are rejoicing.

Disney Springs is welcoming another popular Orlando restaurant to its culinary destination. The 4R Cantina Barbacoa Food Truck will have mouths watering when the window opens. This newest eatery expands the award winning food options at the Orlando dining destination.

4R Cantina Barbacoa is part of the 4R Restaurant Group. Another part of the group, 4 Rivers Smokehouses are considered one of the best barbecue restaurants in the nation. Named America’s Best Barbecue Chain” by The Daily Meal, the food is as special as the organizations philanthropic endeavors. While other 4 Restaurant Group locations will be closed on Sundays, the Disney Springs location will donate “net proceeds from sales every Sunday will support The 4R Foundation.” That organization provides funds to “950 local schools, churches and charitable organizations.”

The addition of this food truck to Disney Springs brings a new flavor profile to the dining destination. The menu will feature signature dishes that include Brisket Barbacoa or Pork Sofrito. Many of the dishes are inspired by traditional barbacoa techniques, which are a Mexican influenced method of cooking.

Some must try dishes will be the Taco Cone and a Burrito Bowl. Both of these dishes can include either the brisket or the pork. Another intriguing menu item is the Squash Blossom Burrito. It will be interesting to see how that subtle flavor is highlighted in a traditional burrito.

Of course, a meal isn’t complete without dessert. The Dulce De Leche Churro Balls will be a must try. Even if you just stop by the food truck for this delicious dessert, it might tempt you to return for a full meal.
