KitchenAid launches heritage-inspired Misty Blue color for its 100 years celebration

KitchenAid, a leader in kitchen essentials, is celebrating 100 years of making. The new Misty Blue color celebrates the brand’s heritage.

The new Misty Blue color offering is a prelude to the 2019 100 Year Celebration. The soft blue with a hint of green is said to be reminiscent of an early KitchenAid Stand Mixer color. A soft pastel, this color easily works in any kitchen décor. From the sleek modern design to a softer, country chic, the Misty Blue is almost a subtle neutral.

According to Nikki Lockett, U.S. Marketing Leader for KitchenAid Small Appliances, “Misty Blue brings back a classic style that will spark nostalgia across generations, while also continuing to feed inspiration in the kitchen.” Thinking about today’s cooks, there is a balance between craving recipes that have been handed down and modern twists on those classics. This particular color-scheme seems to embrace that cooking concept.

The new Misty Blue color is set to launch this September. The color will be offered in Limited Edition Heritage Artisan® Series Model K 5 Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer, which will have a heritage-inspired logo and a custom Power Hub cover. The Ceramic Bowl Model with Flex Edge Beater will retail for $649.99 and the White-Coated Stainless Steel Bowl model will retail for $519.99
