The annual Chicago Marathon brings together both elite athletes and the weekend warriors to test their athlete prowess. Toast those accomplishments with these Chicago Marathon specials at various restaurants around the city.

Marathon Runner Discount: Four Entertainment Group

Head to any of the Four Entertainment Group locations, aliveOne, Easy Bar, Estelle’s, Remedy and The Owl, and receive $1 off regular priced drinks. To get the drink discount, runner must show their marathon medal. Show off your accomplishment and toast the occasion!

Post-Marathon hydration stop – Hubbard Inn Bottomless Brunch

After all those months of training, it is time to relax and indulge. Hubbard Inn will offer a Bottomless Brunch from 10 a.m. till 3 p.m. The event will offer runners (with proof of marathon bib/number) free bottomless mimosas with purchase of a brunch plate. Choose from South Fried Chicken and Malted Waffles, Peppercorn Pastrami Hash or a Breakfast Flatbread. Brunch plates’ prices vary from $8 to $18.

Free bowl at MAK: Modern Asian Kitchen

Time to replenish all those carbs. Head to MAK: Modern Asian Kitchen for a free MAK Bowl. Show your runner ID number and runners will receive a free bowl with the purchase of an equal or greater value. We recommend the MAK Gogi or the MAK Pad Thai. MAK: Modern Asian Kitchen opens at 11 a.m.

26.2 discount for 26.2 miles: Parlay at Joy District

After tackling 26.2 miles throughout the city of Chicago, Parlay is giving runners a 26.2 discount off their meals. Runners who present their runner ID number will receive the 26.2 percent discount off their entire group’s purchase. Maybe the cheer squad can opt to buy, especially since the runner got everyone the discount.

Roanoke Restaurant

Carbs, carbs and more carbs to tackle all those miles. Roanoke Restaurant is near the Marathon route and wants to make sure that runners have energy to tackle the course. The restaurant’s special carbo-load pasta menu will be available October 5 through October 7. From Pappardelle to Casarecce, there are numerous options to get all those carbs devoured before the race.

Watch, eat and cheer at Weber Grill Restaurant in Chicago

Located near the Marathon route, Weber Grill Restaurant in Chicago is offering a full breakfast buffet and a post-race lunch. From 6:30 a.m. till 11 a.m. the restaurant will offer a lavish, full breakfast buffet. From a chef’s station to a pastry table, the choices are many. Don’t worry about all the extra calories. Cheering takes a lot of effort.
