Forget candy for Halloween. Krispy Kreme’s Halloween Doughnut Collection is the sweet treat that all those little ghosts and goblins want this year.

Krispy Kreme’s Halloween Doughnut Collection give a sweetness to the spooky season. Instead of the Halloween candy limited to the trick or treat bag, Krispy Kreme has topped its Original Glazed Doughnut with an extra dose of sweetness. Can you handle these Halloween doughnuts?

The new Trick-or-Treat Doughnut takes the Original Glazed Doughnut, drizzles it with salted caramel and tops it with chocolate Halloween candies. Now, this doughnut might be a heavy on the sugar, it does scream Halloween. Sometimes, it is permissible to overindulge on a sweet treat. Personally, I would have to have a big glass of milk or coffee to help pair down the sugary goodness in this doughnut.

In addition to the Trick-or-Treat Doughnut, the all new Monster Batter Doughnut is another spooky creation that appeals to the sweet tooth. This doughnut is filled with classic cake batter, then dipped in slime green icing and decorated with monster eyes and confetti. This doughnut will surely be a popular choice with the kids. What kid wouldn’t love bright green slime that is edible?

Of course, the classic Jack-O-Lantern doughnut is back along with the Chocolate Iced Doughnut with Halloween Sprinkles. To celebrate Halloween and all these spooky, sweet treats, Krispy Kreme will host a costume party. On October 31, at participating locations, anyone wearing a costume will receive a free doughnut. It doesn’t clarify if your costume must be easily identifiable or if there is an age limit on this free doughnut offer. If you’re looking to get a free doughnut, I would suggest a costume that everyone can easily understand as a costume (and nothing too scary).
