A popular kitchen appliance can be a good choice for a holiday gift. Whether it is for the foodie or the newbie chef, food related gifts are very popular during the holidays. Even more importantly, many stores entice holiday shoppers with some amazing deals. This most recent Black Friday through Cyber Monday shopping period showed one gift was a huge seller.
Did you buy an Instapot over the big shopping weekend? According to Walmart, the Instapot was the one of the hottest holiday gifts. Overall, kitchen items were top sellers. But, why is that Instapot so popular?
The Instapot is popular with all types of home cooks. The convenience of this countertop pressure cooker has made it a huge seller. What busy person doesn’t want a meal made more quickly?
While many people are huge Instapot fans, I have not been converted to the cooking mantra. While I have a pressure cooker, slow cooker and a myriad of kitchen appliances, I am not convinced that the Instapot is needed in my world. Sure, I like the convenience factor, but I’ve found other ways to cook quickly.
Although an Instapot might not be on my holiday wish list, kitchen gadgets are some of my top choices. As Walmart found, kitchen items were (and still are) very popular. Other top selling items were Farberware Air Fryer, a Pyrex 28-piece storage set and the Magic Bullet. These items seem to suggest that consumers are looking to healthier eating options. Items like the air fryer and Magic Bullet often help to support healthy lifestyles.
If you are considering a kitchen appliance for a holiday gift, take the time to do a little research. Make sure that the kitchen item will function well in your house and your lifestyle. Just because something is popular or on sale, doesn’t mean that it will be a good fit in your house.
