Buffalo Wild Wings wants everyone to start the New Year on the right track
Buffalo Wild Wings wants the New Year to start off on the right foot, literally. Are you ready to start New Year’s Day off right?
Buffalo Wild Wings understands that the start of the New Year is often filled with good intentions. One of those resolutions is being more active. With many people getting fitness trackers, the goal of achieving those 10,000 steps or more takes effort. Sometimes big bowl games can interfere with all that physical activity. Would you want to miss the epic catch because you were out for a run?
Luckily, Minneapolis-St. Paul residents will have the opportunity to hit those fitness goals and watch their favorite bowl games. On January 1, Buffalo Wild Wings has the solution that will have everyone hitting those daily step numbers. At local area BWW restaurants, servers will guests’ fitness trackers, which should allow everyone to get their daily steps.
Did you know that an average BWW server takes about 20,000 steps per shift? All those steps can easily achieve the recommended 10,000 per day. Just think about how impressed everyone will be about that first day goal.
Truthfully, Minneapolis-St. Paul is one of the country’s fittest cities. Offering this special “event” in the area is rather interesting. It could be possible that many people would have accomplished their 10,000 steps prior to any college bowl game kick-off.
In reality, this special event is probably targeted at the people who begrudgingly received a fitness tracker as a gift. Many people might have received those gifts that they wished came with a gift receipt. At least with this BWW event, they won’t miss the game and can show that gift giver that the present is being used.
Overall, BWW is having a little fun with the New Year’s Resolution idea. Maybe the restaurant chain could resolve to keep the Jammin’ Jalapeno sauce on the menu a little longer. That scenario would make many BWW rejoice long beyond the New Year’s Resolution has faded.
Would you take part in the Buffalo Wild Wings fitness tracker promotion? What do you think of the idea?
