Temple has been a personal chef to several big name NFL players like, Malcolm Jenkins, Brandin Cooks and Michael Thomas. These recipes will definitely satisfy everyone at your Big Game party.

Chili can be a wonderful base for many recipes. The flavor can be transformed in various ways. From spice and heat to even a little sweet, it is a great way incorporate all types of flavors and satisfy a big group of guests.

Chef Temple said, “The beautiful thing about it is chili and football go hand in hand,” Temple said. “At tailgates or with friends at a viewing party or wherever, it’s easy to accommodate a larger crowd.”

For this weekend’s Big Game, Chef Temple and Hormel created four chili cheese dip recipes. These recipes are super flavorful yet easy for the home cook to recreate. This recipe blends LA’s diverse food culture. With cilantro and jalapeños, the heat is present but not overwhelming. It is a lovely nod to Latin culture.

Dynasty Dip

This recipe is definitely an homage to the Northeast. With a focus on beans, specifically Boston baked beans, there is a great play of savory and sweet.

Crescent City Chili Dip

Although Chef Temple’s hometown team didn’t make the Big Game, this recipe is a tribute to New Orleans culture. With creole seasoning, red beans and other ingredients, this recipe could make New Orleans fans a little less bitter.

BBQ Chili Dip

Kansas City is known for its barbecue. Those spicy and bold flavors come through in each bite of this dip. With a slight tang too, this dip recipe will have people digging in over and over.
