Worst Cooks in America Celebrity Edition is back on Food Network. Which of these eight recruits will fight their way through culinary boot camp?
The Food Network favorite show is back. Worst Cooks in America Celebrity Edition has returned for another season. With eight famous recruits ready to get behind the stove, these aspiring cooks are looking to develop some cooking skills.
According to Food Network, the first episode of Worst Cooks in America Celebrity Edition sees which recruit could be a diamond in the rough. The synopsis states:
"Eight of the worst celebrity cooks in America arrive at culinary boot camp, and chefs Anne Burrell and Tyler Florence ask them each to cook their favorite restaurant dish to see how they measure up to the original. Then, the chefs teach the celebrities how to make a classic steakhouse meal, and it’s clear that some of these celebs just don’t have the chops. Finally, Anne and Tyler pick their teams in an award show-inspired ceremony."
Recreating a favorite restaurant dish is hard for any cook, let alone a cook who may not feel confident in the kitchen. There are a couple ways that this challenge could be approached.
First, the celebrities could try for a really ambitious dish. That option could show Anne and Tyler that they aren’t afraid of a challenge. Sometimes being fearless in the kitchen is a good attribute.
Second, the celebrities could try a simple dish that they can prepare well. Given that these celebrities are on “worst cooks” they may not be able to create even a simple dish. Still, if they can get the basics under their belt, they could have the tools to win the whole competition.
In the first episode, the tone is set for the whole season. Could the potential winner be obvious in this episode or will the kitchen chaos just be too overwhelming?
