Worst Cooks in America, Celebrity Edition, Season 16 episode 2 preview
Worst Cooks in America Celebrity Edition is back and this week’s episode might be filled with fun and games, but can these celebrities earn a gold star?
The recruits are back in the Worst Cooks in America Celebrity Edition. With the teams set, these celebrities are ready to learn some cooking skills. Can one celebrity become a celebrity actually become an award winning chef?
According to the Food Network, this week’s episode, “Wheel of Misfortune” features the following:
"It’s Celebrity Game Night at boot camp, and the teams of celebrity cooks go head-to-head for food games and trivia, including a Wheel of Horror. Then the celebrities go on a museum tour of famous movie dishes and are asked to replicate Anne Burrell’s and Tyler Florence’s movie-inspired dishes. The two celebs with the worst dishes face off in a blind elimination challenge to determine who goes home."
Looking at this synopsis, the “Wheel of Horror” sounds more difficult than what it most likely will be. Maybe for these celebrities, there are some ingredients that could bring a fright. Still, these challenges aren’t necessarily the crazy food combinations like Chopped.
While the first challenge is a little more fun, the second challenge is where the celebrities need to shine. Recreating Anne’s and Tyler’s dishes shows how the celebrities listen. Following directions and learning cooking skills makes these celebrities a not bad cook versus the worst cook.

For the blind elimination challenge, this particular dish looks to even the playing field a little. While the assumption is that the dish is blind, Anne and Tyler could probably tell which dish was made by a particular celebrity.
Even early in a competition, some of the celebrities are showing their cooking tendencies. From over cooking to improper seasoning, every cook has a few tendencies. Even good cooks have signature cooking styles, both good and bad.
