DQ Summer menu: Cake shakes, Cupfections and Blizzards oh my!

DQ Summer menu is here. From Cake Shakes to Cupfections, these new frozen treats will keep you cool and satisfied all summer long.

Ready for the DQ Summer menu? As the long, lazy days of summer approach, DQ is getting ready. This new summer menu brings back some classic flavors and adds some new sweet treats. Is your red spoon ready?

In a way, DQ hopes to bring spoonfuls of happiness to its guests this summer. Maria Hokanson, Executive Vice President of Marketing for American Dairy Queen Corporation (ADQ) said, “(f)rom cups to cones and creamy to crunchy, our new Summer Treat Menu will take fans on a flavor adventure- no sunscreen or life vest required.”

Since DQ is known for its iconic Blizzards, the summer Blizzard Treat Menu definitely impresses. For May, DQ is offering Mini Blizzard Treat Flights. These three Blizzard samplers allow guests to have it all. With so many tasty offerings, it can be difficult to choose just one Blizzard. With the Treat Flights, now you don’t have to choose.

On the Summer Blizzard menu, the flavors include Caramel Cannonball Blizzard Treat, OREO Cookie Jar Blizzard Treat, Brownie Dough Blizzard Treat, S’mores Blizzard Treat, Cotton Candy Blizzard Treat and Summer Berry Cheesecake Blizzard Treat.

All six flavors will be available throughout the summer. Each Blizzard features a flavor often associated with summertime.

The new Caramel Cannonball Blizzard Treat is new to the Blizzard menu. This one combines textures with crunchy toffee pieces and sweet caramel coated truffles. Plus, caramel topping is swirled into the mix. It is definitely a sweet spoonful.

In addition to the Blizzards, DQ is offering the new Cupfections. These new menu items are a twist on the classic sundae. Layered into a cup, each spoonful offers a complete flavor experience.

The Cupfections flavors are Brownie and OREO Cupfection and Summer Berry Cake Cupfection. One bite will have you re-thinking the traditional sundae experience.

Lastly, DQ is offering Cake Shakes. Why have cake and ice cream separate, when they can be combined into a blended experience? These shakes might still need a spoon, but they are perfect for summertime.

The two flavors of Cake Shakes are Chocolate Cake Shake and Strawberry Cake Cake. Do not miss the opportunity to try the chocolate version. The pieces of vanilla cake mixed with chocolate chunks and DQ soft-serve will make you wish for a bigger cup.

Even though the first day of summer is officially June 21, the DQ Summer menu is available now. The summer treats will be available through August or while supplies last.
