Are two chefs better than one? In MasterChef Junior Season 7 episode 11, the young cooks team up to make a dish that is tasty, but not too corny.

Ready for a new episode of MasterChef Junior? This week’s episode asks the young cooks to push their creativity to the limits. While they must work together, will a favorite young cook stumble this close to the finish line?

According to FOX, this week’s episode, “Too Corny” states: “The top eight pair up and must make something creative and delicious with corn; tapas themed tag team challenge.”

For the duo challenge, this cook could be the battle of wills. While the young cooks have done a great job of listening to each other and respecting each other’s opinions, someone will have to take the lead. Hopefully, this week there will be no cooking accidents in the kitchen.

Thinking about corn recipes, the young cooks who try for an elevated dish might be rewarded. Corn offers so many possibilities. From sweet to savory, the possibilities are many.

One idea could that could put a team in the lead would be using corn in multiple ways. Corn can offer numerous textures and flavors. The team that can show corn with its many layers could earn a spot in next week’s challenge.

As for the tag team tapas challenge, this cook could be quite difficult. Even the most seasoned chef can be overwhelmed in this type of cooking situation. If the team doesn’t communicate, the dishes will be a disaster.

Given this clip, the young cooks will need to use their time wisely. If the young cooks don’t have a plan of attack prior to starting the challenge, they will definitely be in the weeds.

Thinking about tapas, it will be interesting to see how the young cooks approach this challenge. If the judges don’t provide a lot of guidance, this menu could be almost anything. Hot, cold, meat or fish, the options are could be overwhelming.
