Are you prepared for MasterChef Celebrity Family Showdown? In this premiere episode, celebrities and their families look to impress Gordon Ramsay.

Can celebrities cook? In MasterChef Celebrity Family Showdown, some celebrities and their families are willing to put their cooking abilities to the test. While these celebrities are cooking for a good cause, they need to show the culinary greatness. Who will impress Gordon Ramsay, Aaron Sanchez and Joe Bastianich?

This week’s first episode features Lisa Vanderpump and her Daughter, Pandora, vs. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and JWoww and Johnny Weir and his Brother, Boz, vs. Tara Lipinsky and her Husband, Todd. These first two battles should definitely bring some high entertainment value.

While the exact challenges aren’t clear, the two battles seem to give one team having an edge. In the battle of the reality television stars, the edge has to go to Lisa Vanderpump. The restaurateur should be able to create a delicious dish.

Thinking about Vanderpump’s knowledge of cuisine and wine, she should have a good palate. Based on a couple of photos, there seems to be a blind taste test. Hopefully, she can prove herself in the kitchen. Although, I don’t think that dogs should be in the kitchen.

For the second celebrity pairing, this competition should provide a lot of entertainment. Tara Lipinsky and Johnny Weir are quite entertaining. Beyond their figure skating commentary, they are a great pair on the Food Network Show, Wedding Cake Championship. While they are quick with a phrase, everyone will have to see if they are quick in the kitchen.

Overall, these charity events are fun for food fans. It shows their favorite celebrities in a new light. Granted the celebrities need to not take themselves so seriously.

Also, it seems doubtful that the judges will be overly harsh. After all, everyone is a celebrity on this show. Granted everyone wants to do well, but it should be more fun than fury.
