Best Baker in America Season 3 finale preview: Who will be champion?

The Best Baker in America Season 3 finale is here. With chocolate showpieces on display, which of these three amazing bakers will be crowned champion?

Three bakers want to be crowned Best Baker in America champion. Throughout the season, these three bakers have proven their talents in French desserts, Toy Story 4 cakes and even miniature desserts. Who will make the ultimate chocolate showpiece and earn the title?

According to the Food Network, this week’s Best Baker in America Season 3 finale, “All-American Birthday Bash: Chocolate-Flavored” synopsis states:

"The pressure mounts in the chocolate-themed finale as host Scott Conant challenges the three remaining bakers to create grown-up versions of a brownie sundae. Then the Master Challenge is to make a Happy Birthday USA chocolate fireworks cake to celebrate July 4th! The elaborately decorated cake for 100 people must feature fireworks-themed chocolate and sugar decorations, three types of chocolate and two types of macarons with salty snacks as the featured ingredient. Bakery owner Elizabeth Chambers joins judges Jason Smith and Marcela Valladolid to choose the winner of the title Best Baker in America."

Brownie sundaes are a classic dessert. While most home cooks would probably have a very simple version of this dessert, these bakers need to create elevated versions.

From the perfectly baked brownie to a luscious ice cream, this brownie sundae needs to be picture perfect. It will be curious to see the flavor combinations in these versions. Will someone really push the flavor boundaries?

For the Master Challenge, the cake for 100 people will definitely be a showpiece. From chocolate decorations to sugar art, these cakes will definitely be impressive.

While the decorations will impress, the flavors need to be on point. Incorporating salty snacks should be interesting. Although the bakers will need to be smart with the snacks. No one wants soggy snacks in the middle of the cake.

Lastly, although the macarons are decorative elements, those desserts need to be on point. A mistake, even with just an element of the cake, will not go overlooked by the judges.
