With one team up for elimination, the pressure is quite daunting on these home cooks. Since the team has a stake in the success or failure of a home cook, it can be quite stressful. Will someone look to sabotage another cook?
Based on the synopsis, the platter is featuring meals from around the world. Although many of the home cooks have a great knowledge of global cuisine, it can be difficult to make this platter cohesive. There needs to be a thread, flavor or something that ties all the dishes together.
While communication is always key to a successful kitchen, this challenge could show how emotions play a role in a dish’s success or failure. Sometimes emotion can make a composed dish shine in the best possible way.
When chaos erupts in the kitchen, the negativity could cause a dish to fail. Lack of focus or being overwhelmed can cause a home cook to miss the details, make errors or otherwise ruin a dish.
