The Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is the hottest new dining location at Walt Disney World!

Towering 16 stories above Walt Disney World the newly opened Gran Destino Tower is the place to be for incredible food and drink right now. With two beautiful bars, a table service restaurant, and a waterfront restaurant there’s so much to explore and eat at the resort. Even if you’re not staying at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort you’re going to want to make the trip over there to check out the new eateries.

The first place we suggest trying out is Three Bridges Bar & Grill. The waterfront dining offers guests great views of the resort at a beautiful open-air restaurant.

We tried out a few of the menu items and they did not disappoint! The menu is made up of sharing plates, entrees and desserts.

From the sharables we highly recommend the curry-lentil hummus which is served with yogurt riata, harissa, naan bread, crackers. The hummus is light and refreshing and the unexpected twist of using lentils instead of chickpeas is a nice touch!

We also loved the warm manchego and Oaxaca cheese dip, which has chorizo and poblano peppers and served with tortilla chips. You really cannot go wrong with any type of cheese in our book so this is a must get.

From the entrees we enjoyed the crispy chicken biscuit sliders topped off with hot honey, blue cheese, and creamy slaw. It also comes with a choice of smoked paprika fries or fruit. Get the fries! They are hand-cut and absolutely delicious in the sea of previously frozen fries served at Walt Disney World.

The chicken is moist and tender, and the biscuits are all made in-house. This is definitely a solid option.

For dessert you have to get the churros. They are tossed with espelette pepper sugar and served with chocolate sauce. The espelette pepper sugar makes these churros a little spicy without being overwhelming. These are definitely not your typical theme park churros.

Inside Gran Destino Tower there are two bars, the Barcelona Lounge and the Dahlia Lounge. The Barcelona Lounge is located on the lower lobby level and features beautiful views to the lake and a stunning background behind the bar. They serve a variety of mixed drinks and some small plates.

If you’re looking for a drink the signature drink of the bar is the Gran Gin Tonic which is made with Tanqueray Gin, House-made Saffron-Orange Tonic and soda water. To go with your drink we recommend A Taste of Barcelona which comes with marinated Manchego, aceitunas, and marcona almonds served with sourdough bread.

The Dahlia Lounge is where you’ll find us most of the time. It’s located on the 16th floor of the Gran Destino Tower and has sweeping views of the Walt Disney World Resort parks and hotels. You can even see into the upcoming Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge!

Here you are transported to Spain and Walt Disney’s adventures with Salvador Dali. The lounge serves small plates and drinks and we cannot get over the savory churros that are topped with oregano, romesco and lemon! The drinks are the same as what’s served in the Barcelona Lounge, so choose whatever you like!

The cornerstone restaurant of the Grand Destino Tower is Toledo- Tapas, Steak & Seafood, which is also located on the 16th floor. The restaurant is absolutely stunning with floor to ceiling windows for 360 views of Walt Disney World.

The menu here is incredible and will please almost anyone. We loved the scallops, which are served with fava hummus, olives, harissa vinaigrette, roasted carrots and yogurt powder! The hangar steak is also going to be a fan favorite, and is served with crushed new potatoes, salsa verde, greens, charred peppers and yellow pepper.

Next. The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic just announced 2019 menus and we cannot wait to go. dark

No matter what type of dining experience you’re looking for, Disney’s Coronado Springs has you covered with amazing new options!
