In this week’s The Great Food Truck Race, is the Florida heat getting too much for these the food trucks or will the 305 offer some big rewards.

Only three food trucks remain in The Great Food Truck Race. As the teams head south to Miami, will the heat be too much to bear or will these food trucks find a way to roll through the final push?

According to the Food Network, this week’s episode, “Miami Meltdown,” features the following:

"Tyler Florence finds out what makes the final three teams tick when he spends time with each food truck in Miami, Florida. Challenges to make crowd-pleasing pork dish and an innovative coffee creation keep all the cooks on their toes, and with the $50,000 prize so close, tensions flare like never before."

With only three food trucks left, it is nice for Tyler to be able to give these teams some one on one time. Even if a team doesn’t win the big prize, this experience could launch a successful food truck. It isn’t too often that a business gets this level of training and experience.

Looking at the challenges themselves, the pork dish could set one food truck apart from another. Nola Creations might have an advantage in this challenge. These chefs seem to be building momentum and this challenge could show their creativity.

Brunch Babes might have a slight struggle. While pork can be a great ingredient in brunch food, they will need to find the right balance. Hopefully, they offer something more than a pork breakfast taco.

As for the coffee challenge, it would be great to see a food truck really push the boundaries with this challenge. Could Nola Creations bring some chicory coffee flavors to the table?

While the classic Cuban coffee will probably be featured, the food trucks need to prove that they want to win this Food Network competition. It isn’t just showing up. These food trucks need to deliver big.
